About Pt. Harisankar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya- Pt. Harisankar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya was founded with the goal of spreading the light of knowledge far and wide into every corner of our Chhattisgarh State. Keeping the vision in mind, Pt. Hartsankar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Chhattisgarh, embarked on a challenging journey about a decade ago. Today it stands proudly as one of the best College in Janjgir.
Admission Procedure
SCERT (Chhattisgarh) conducts an entrance test for B.Ed in Chhattisgarh. Trainees who have been allotted their final selection under the notified list by the state council of educational research and training, Raipur.
Application Form
To get admission in the college one has to fill the application form and to get the application form from collage office to pay Rs. 500.
Documents
It is mandatory to give photo copy and origional of all documents with application which is given in section of Required Documents.

Curriculam
The B.Ed. curriculum shall be designed to integrate the study of subject knowledge, human developemeent, pedagogical knowledge and communication skills. The programme shall comprise three board curricular areas: Perapective in education, curriculam and pedagogic studies and Engagement with the field.
The courses under each of these curricular ares will be based on a close reading of original writings, seminar/term paper presentations and continuous engagement with the field. Transaction of the courses shall be done usinga variety of approaches, such as case studies, discussions on reflective journals, observations of children and ineteractions with the community in multiple socio-cultural environments.
Information and Communication Technology(ICT), gender, yoga education and disability/inclusive education shall form an integral part of the B.Ed. curriculam.

Assessment in the B.Ed. programme
B.Ed. programme, For each theory course, at least 20% shall be assigned for continuous internal assessment and 80% for external examination. Candidates must be internally assessed on the entire course of study and not only on the project/field work given to them as part of their unites of study. The basis of assessment and criteria used ought to be transparent for students to benefit maximally out of professional feedback students shall be given information about their grades/marks as part of professional feedback so that they get the opportunity to improve their performance.
B.Ed. 1st Year
The examination shall consists of two parts, namely-
Part-I Theory -600 marks
Part-II Teacher enrichment – 100 marks
Part-ll1-Engagement with the field and internship (School experience and community work) – 100 marks
Total-800 Marks
B.Ed. 2nd Year
Part-1 Theory – 550 marks
Part-11 Teacher enrichment- 100 marks
Part-1-School Internship-350 Marks
Total-1000 Marks
Grand Total – First Year +Second Year = 800+1000 = 1800
